Like cars, medical coverage comes with a lot of options. DriveTime offeres three medical plan options - the UnitedHealthcare (UHC) PPO plan, the UHC high-deductible health plan (HDHP) and the Surest Defined Copay Plan.
- PPO: This plan offers lower deductible and copay options and has a higher bi-weekly premium
- HDHP: This plan offers a higher deductible and has a lower bi-weekly premium
- Surest Copay: This plan has no deductible

Virtual Visits
UnitedHealthcare offers members options for virtual visits with local providers or by using UnitedHealthcare’s preferred national providers. You will continue to have access to Teladoc via UHC, as well as other 24/7 Virtual Visits options.

2nd.MD
If you have been diagnosed with cancer or a chronic condition, prescribed a new medication or referred for a surgical procedure, you may be a candidate for an expert second opinion. Through DriveTime, you have an exclusive membership to 2nd.MD, a virtual expert medical consultation and navigation service. They will connect you with a board-certified, elite specialist for a virtual expert medical consultation via phone or video from the comfort of home.

Hinge Health
Hinge Health is included with your medical plan. Hinge Health can help you conquer back and joint pain, recover from injuries, prepare for surgery, or stay healthy and pain free. Chronic Disease Care Management
Access to chronic disease care management is provided through your medical plan.
If you or a loved one is living with a chronic health condition, such as diabetes, high blood pressure or chronic obstructive pulmonary disease (COPD), a nurse can help you manage your symptoms.
Maven
Included with your medical plan is Maven, a virtual health clinic for you and your partner. You can talk to doctors and nurses anytime, day or night, without waiting or paying. Maven helps with fertility and family building, pregnancy, postpartum care, parenting, kids' health, menopause and midlife support. Your full Maven membership is covered, from video appointments to articles, classes and more.
Cancer Support Program
If you’re preparing for cancer treatment or have already started, an oncology nurse can help you navigate treatment options and help you find a network provider from a high-quality Centers of Excellence (COE) facility.
Access to this program is included with your medical plan.
Bariatric Resources
Access to bariatric resources is included with your medical plan.
Receive information and support if you are considering bariatric surgery. Experienced nurses will help you understand and manage the conditions associated with obesity before and after surgery.
You can also receive bariatric resources with Lantern.

Disability & Life Insurance
Life & AD&D Insurance
DriveTime automatically provides basic life and accidental death & dismemberment (AD&D) insurance to all benefits-eligible employees AT NO COST. If you die as a result of an accident, your beneficiary would receive both the life benefit and the AD&D benefit. Please be sure to keep your beneficiary designations up to date.
Disability Insurance
Disability insurance is designed to help you meet your financial needs if you become unable to work due to an illness or injury. DriveTime automatically provides short-term disability (STD) insurance to all benefits-eligible employees AT NO COST. Benefits will be reduced by other income, including state-mandated STD plans. DriveTime also provides you the option to purchase voluntary long-term disability (LTD) insurance that you can use to extend the benefit duration.

Critical Illness Insurance
DriveTime provides you the option to purchase critical illness insurance. While the DriveTime medical plans provide coverage for hospital and medical expenses, they don’t cover costs like daily living expenses, child care or copays. A critical illness insurance policy can help you with these and other unexpected expenses.
Accident Insurance
DriveTime provides you the option to purchase accident insurance. Accident insurance helps protect against the financial burden that accident-related costs can create. This means that you will have added financial resources to help with expenses incurred due to an injury, to help with ongoing living expenses, or to help with any purpose you choose.
Hospital Indemnity Insurance
DriveTime provides you the option to purchase hospital indemnity insurance. Hospital indemnity insurance can complement your medical coverage by helping to ease the financial impact of a hospitalization. It provides a lump-sum payment that can be used for hospital admission, accident-related inpatient rehabilitation, hospital stays or any other covered expenses that you incur.

Fidelity 401(k)
Drive your financial well-being forward with a retirement plan. DriveTime offers a 401(k) retirement savings plan, which is administered by Fidelity. Better yet, after 90 days of employment DriveTime will match 100% of the first 3% of your salary that you contribute, and 50% on anything above 3% (maximum of 5%)! Don't put off this important financial step. Save what you can now and increase over time. Small amounts can really add up over time. The important thing is to save what you can afford – and get started as soon as possible.
Fidelity Financial Guidance
Did you know that as a participant in the DriveTime 401(k) Plan administered at Fidelity Investments, you have access to financial guidance at no extra cost? From workshops and online tools to Fidelity’s registered phone representatives, you have resources at your fingertips that can help you put a plan in place — for whatever financial goals you may have.

Are you looking to continue your education? DriveTime offers full-time employees up to $5,250 per calendar year for education assistance. Part-time employees are eligible for up to $3,150 per calendar year. Take the Education/Tuition Assistance Program Overview course in Workday Learning before you start.

HSA
If you enroll in the UnitedHealthcare high deductible health plan (HDHP), you are eligible to fund a health savings account (HSA). An HSA is a savings account that you can use to pay out-of-pocket health care expenses with pre-tax dollars. DriveTime will match your contributions dollar-for-dollar up to $100 (employee only on medical benefits) or $350 (employees + spouse and/or children).
Health Care FSA
If you enroll in the UnitedHealthcare PPO or Surest Copay plan, you are eligible to fund a Health Care Flexible Spending Account. Use pretax dollars to pay for eligible out-of-pocket medical, dental, and vision expenses.
Dependent Care FSA
The Dependent Care FSA allows you to pay for eligible dependent day care expenses with pretax dollars. Eligible dependents are children under 13 years of age, or a child over 13, spouse, or elderly parent residing in your house who is physically or mentally unable to care for himself or herself.

Paid Time Off (PTO)
Paid Time Off (PTO) can be used for vacation, illness, injury, and/or personal business. You will begin to accrue PTO upon your date of hire. PTO may be taken as soon as it is accrued, subject to the approval of your supervisor.
When taking time off, you must use available PTO before taking time off without pay. The PTO accrual rate for an employee is based on the length of employment, with the rates being adjusted on the anniversary of the employee’s date of hire.
All employees are eligible to roll over up to 80 hours of PTO to the next year. The remaining balances at the end of the year (up to 80 hours) will be available for use at the beginning of the following year.
Family & Medical Leave
DriveTime provides a comprehensive leave of absence program for employees with at least one year of employment and 1,250 service hours as of the date that their leave begins. There are three different types of Family Medical Leave (FMLA): continuous, intermittent and military. FMLA is 12 weeks or 480 hours of job protection with no pay. Short-term disability insurance may cover 60% of pay after 14 days of your leave of absence. For more information and to initiate FMLA, please create a Case in Workday for assistance.
Short-Term Disability

Parental Leave & Support
Breast Pump Info
As a member of UnitedHealthcare or Surest, you may purchase a personal electric breast bump by contacting a participating doctor or approved breast pump supplier up to 30 days before your delivery date or 365 days after your delivery date. Call for a list of participating suppliers. These suppliers will send the pump directly to you and bill either UHC or Surest directly. No prescription is needed.

Parental Leave Info
DriveTime supports growing families. Employees receive paid parental leave based on length of service. Newer employees who are not yet eligible for FMLA may still qualify for protected leave under the Americans with Disabilities Act. When you’re preparing to welcome a new child, simply open a case in Workday for the Leave Team, and we will guide you through the process.
